Mixed Mediums is a creative studio operated by Studio Workshop Collective LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 1770 W Berteau Ave, Suite 407, Chicago, IL 60613. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you book a workshop, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter:

• Name and email address: required to complete a booking and send confirmation emails.
• Guest names: if you register additional attendees, you provide their names on their behalf.
• Payment information: credit/debit card details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Newsletter opt-in: if you choose to subscribe, we store your email for marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

We do not require account creation and do not collect more data than is necessary to complete your booking.

How We Use Your Information

• Send booking confirmations and reminder emails.
• Process payments securely through Stripe.
• Respond to questions or support requests you send us.
• Send promotional emails about upcoming workshops (only if you opted in).
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records).

Third-Party Processors

We share your information only with service providers that help us run Mixed Mediums:

• Stripe: processes all payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): our booking data is stored in DynamoDB and emails are sent via SES, both hosted in the US.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Booking records (name, email, workshop attended) are retained for up to three years for business and tax purposes, then deleted. Newsletter subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point your email is removed promptly.

Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal data (subject to any legal retention obligations).
• Opt out of marketing emails (or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send).

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls on our databases. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
