Our story
Make time for making things
Mixed Mediums started as a simple idea: make creative workshops accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level. We rotate fresh workshops every month: mosaics, beaded embroidery, linocut stamps, perfume making, collage, knitting, and more, so there's always something new to try.
Our studio is in the heart of the Ravenswood neighborhood. Every class is capped small, materials are included, and our instructors are hands-on from start to finish.
Whether you're looking to try something new, unwind after a long week, or bond with friends. Mixed Mediums is the place for it.

What we're about
Always Rotating
We bring in new workshop types every month so regulars always have something fresh to look forward to. Beaded embroidery one month, perfume the next.
Small & Personal
Every class is intentionally small. You'll get real attention from the instructor, not just a seat in a crowd. Questions are encouraged.
Truly Beginner-Friendly
No prior experience, no judgment. We genuinely mean it when we say all skill levels are welcome. The only requirement is curiosity.
